14节经文

1 以法莲吃风，且追赶东风。时常增添虚谎和强暴。与亚述立约，把油送到埃及。
Ephraim feeds on wind, And chases the east wind. He continually multiplies lies and desolation. They make a covenant with Assyria, And oil is carried into Egypt.

2 耶和华与犹大争辩，必照雅各所行的惩罚他，按他所做的报应他。
Yahweh also has a controversy with Judah, And will punish Jacob according to his ways; According to his deeds he will repay him.

3 他在腹中抓住哥哥的脚跟，壮年的时候与神较力。
In the womb he took his brother by the heel; And in his manhood he had power with God.

4 与天使较力，并且得胜，哭泣恳求，在伯特利遇见耶和华。耶和华万军之神在那里晓谕我们以色列人，耶和华是他可记念的名。
Indeed, he had power over the angel, and prevailed; He wept, and made supplication to him. He found him at Bethel, and there he spoke with us,

6 所以你当归向你的神，谨守仁爱，公平，常常等候你的神。
Therefore turn to your God. Keep kindness and justice, And wait for your God continually.

7 以法莲是商人，手里有诡诈的天平，爱行欺骗。
A merchant has dishonest scales in his hand. He loves to defraud.

8 以法莲说，我果然成了富足，得了财宝，我所劳碌得来的，人必不见有什么不义，可算为罪的。
Ephraim said, "Surely I have become rich, I have found myself wealth. In all my wealth they won't find in me any iniquity that is sin."

9 自从你出埃及地以来，我就是耶和华你的神，我必使你再住帐棚，如在大会的日子一样。
"But I am Yahweh your God from the land of Egypt. I will yet again make you to dwell in tents, As in the days of the solemn feast.

10 我已晓谕众先知，并且加增默示，藉先知设立比喻。
I have also spoken to the prophets, And I have multiplied visions; And by the ministry of the prophets I have used parables.

11 基列人没有罪孽吗？他们全然是虚假的。人在吉甲献牛犊为祭，他们的祭坛，好像田间犁沟中的乱堆。
If Gilead is wicked, Surely they are worthless. In Gilgal they sacrifice bulls. Indeed, their altars are like heaps in the furrows of the field.

12 从前雅各逃到亚兰地，以色列为得妻服侍人，为得妻与人放羊。
Jacob fled into the country of Aram, And Israel served to get a wife, And for a wife he tended flocks and herds.

13 耶和华藉先知领以色列从埃及上来，以色列也藉先知而得保存。
By a prophet Yahweh brought Israel up out of Egypt, And by a prophet he was preserved.

14 以法莲大大惹动主怒，所以他流血的罪，必归在他身上，主必将那因以法莲所受的羞辱归还他。
Ephraim has provoked to anger most bitterly. Therefore his blood will be left on him, And his his Lord will repay his contempt.
