诗篇51:
1（大卫与拔示巴同室以后，先知拿单来见他。他作这诗，交与伶长。）神啊，求你按你的慈爱怜恤我，按你丰盛的慈悲涂抹我的过犯。
2求你将我的罪孽洗除净尽，并洁除我的罪。
3因为我知道我的过犯，我的罪常在我面前。
4我向你犯罪，惟独得罪了你，在你眼前行了这恶，以致你责备我的时候，显为公义。判断我的时候，显为清正。
5我是在罪孽里生的。在我母亲怀胎的时候，就有了罪。
6你所喜爱的，是内里诚实。你在我隐密处，必使我得智慧。
7求你用牛膝草洁净我，我就干净，求你洗涤我，我就比雪更白。
8求你使我得听欢喜快乐的声音，使你所压伤的骨头，可以踊跃。
9求你掩面不看我的罪，涂抹我一切的罪孽。
10神啊，求你为我造清洁的心，使我里面重新有正直的灵（正直或作坚定）。
11不要丢弃我，使我离开你的面。不要从我收回你的圣灵。
12求你使我仍得救恩之乐，赐我乐意的灵扶持我。
13我就把你的道指教有过犯的人。罪人必归顺你。
14神啊，你是拯救我的神。求你救我脱离流人血的罪。我的舌头就高声歌唱你的公义。
15主啊，求你使我嘴唇张开，我的口便传扬赞美你的话。
16你本不喜爱祭物。若喜爱，我就献上。燔祭你也不喜悦。
17神所要的祭，就是忧伤的灵。神啊，忧伤痛悔的心，你必不轻看。
18求你随你的美意善待锡安，建造耶路撒冷的城墙。
19那时，你必喜爱公义的祭，和燔祭并全牲的燔祭。那时，人必将公牛献在你坛上。
1Have mercy on me, O God,because of your unfailing love.Because of your great compassion,blot out the stain of my sins.
2Wash me clean from my guilt.Purify me from my sin.
3For I recognize my rebellion;it haunts me day and night.
4Against you, and you alone, have I sinned;I have done what is evil in your sight.You will be proved right in what you say,and your judgment against me is just.#51:4 Greek version reads and you will win your case in court. Compare Rom 3:4.
5For I was born a sinner—yes, from the moment my mother conceived me.
6But you desire honesty from the womb,#51:6 Or from the heart; Hebrew reads in the inward parts.teaching me wisdom even there.
7Purify me from my sins,#51:7 Hebrew Purify me with the hyssop branch. and I will be clean;wash me, and I will be whiter than snow.
8Oh, give me back my joy again;you have broken me—now let me rejoice.
9Don’t keep looking at my sins.Remove the stain of my guilt.
10Create in me a clean heart, O God.Renew a loyal spirit within me.
11Do not banish me from your presence,and don’t take your Holy Spirit#51:11 Or your spirit of holiness. from me.
12Restore to me the joy of your salvation,and make me willing to obey you.
13Then I will teach your ways to rebels,and they will return to you.
14Forgive me for shedding blood, O God who saves;then I will joyfully sing of your forgiveness.
15Unseal my lips, O Lord,that my mouth may praise you.
16You do not desire a sacrifice, or I would offer one.You do not want a burnt offering.
17The sacrifice you desire is a broken spirit.You will not reject a broken and repentant heart, O God.
18Look with favor on Zion and help her;rebuild the walls of Jerusalem.
19Then you will be pleased with sacrifices offered in the right spirit—with burnt offerings and whole burnt offerings.Then bulls will again be sacrificed on your altar.
