诗篇56:
1(非利士人在迦特拿住大卫。那时他作这金诗，交与伶长，调用远方无声鸽）神啊，求你怜悯我，因为人要把我吞了，终日攻击欺压我。
2我的仇敌终日要把我吞了。因逞骄傲攻击我的人甚多。
3我惧怕的时候要倚靠你。
4我倚靠神。我要赞美他的话。我倚靠神，必不惧怕。血气之辈能把我怎么样呢？
5他们终日颠倒我的话。他们一切的心思，都是要害我。
6他们聚集，埋伏窥探我的脚踪。等候要害我的命。
7他们岂能因罪孽逃脱吗？神啊，求你在怒中使众民堕落。
8我几次流离，你都记数。求你把我眼泪装在你的皮袋里。这不都记在你册子上吗？
9我呼求的日子，我的仇敌都要转身退后。神帮助我，这是我所知道的。
10我倚靠神。我要赞美他的话。我倚靠耶和华。我要赞美他的话。
11我倚靠神，必不惧怕。人能把我怎么样呢？
12神啊，我向你所许的愿在我身上。我要将感谢祭献给你。
13因为你救我的命脱离死亡。你岂不是救护我的脚不跌倒，使我在生命光中行在神面前吗？
1O God, have mercy on me,for people are hounding me.My foes attack me all day long.
2I am constantly hounded by those who slander me,and many are boldly attacking me.
3But when I am afraid,I will put my trust in you.
4I praise God for what he has promised.I trust in God, so why should I be afraid?What can mere mortals do to me?
5They are always twisting what I say;they spend their days plotting to harm me.
6They come together to spy on me—watching my every step, eager to kill me.
7Don’t let them get away with their wickedness;in your anger, O God, bring them down.
8You keep track of all my sorrows.#56:8 Or my wanderings.You have collected all my tears in your bottle.You have recorded each one in your book.
9My enemies will retreat when I call to you for help.This I know: God is on my side!
10I praise God for what he has promised;yes, I praise the Lord for what he has promised.
11I trust in God, so why should I be afraid?What can mere mortals do to me?
12I will fulfill my vows to you, O God,and will offer a sacrifice of thanks for your help.
13For you have rescued me from death;you have kept my feet from slipping.So now I can walk in your presence, O God,in your life-giving light.
