希伯来书10:1-4
1律法既是将来美事的影儿，不是本物的真像，总不能藉着每年常献一样的祭物，叫那近前来的人得以完全。2若不然，献祭的事岂不早已止住了吗？因为礼拜的人，良心既被洁净，就不再觉得有罪了。3但这些祭物是叫人每年想起罪来。4因为公牛和山羊的血，断不能除罪。
1The old system under the law of Moses was only a shadow, a dim preview of the good things to come, not the good things themselves. The sacrifices under that system were repeated again and again, year after year, but they were never able to provide perfect cleansing for those who came to worship. 2If they could have provided perfect cleansing, the sacrifices would have stopped, for the worshipers would have been purified once for all time, and their feelings of guilt would have disappeared. 3But instead, those sacrifices actually reminded them of their sins year after year. 4For it is not possible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins.
