提摩太后书4:14-18
14铜匠亚力山大多多地害我。主必照他所行的报应他。15你也要防备他。因为他极力敌挡了我们的话。16我初次申诉，没有人前来帮助，竟都离弃我。但愿这罪不归与他们。17惟有主站在我旁边，加给我力量，使福音被我尽都传明，叫外邦人都听见。我也从狮子口里被救出来。18主必救我脱离诸般的凶恶，也必救我进他的天国。愿荣耀归给他，直到永永远远。阿们。
14Alexander the coppersmith did me much harm, but the Lord will judge him for what he has done. 15Be careful of him, for he fought against everything we said. 16The first time I was brought before the judge, no one came with me. Everyone abandoned me. May it not be counted against them. 17But the Lord stood with me and gave me strength so that I might preach the Good News in its entirety for all the Gentiles to hear. And he rescued me from certain death.#4:17 Greek from the mouth of a lion. 18Yes, and the Lord will deliver me from every evil attack and will bring me safely into his heavenly Kingdom.
